I bet on people before property.

You're sitting on the biggest thing you'll ever own, and nobody has ever really sat down and shown you what it can do.

Most people get handed one option and believe that's the only choice they've got.

Wrong.

I put two signs out in public, sit down to people‑watch, and let strangers ask me anything.

Shane van Huizen

I'm no different.

My parents built a self‑storage facility in beautiful Southern California.

It was the thing our whole family was built around.

Then the economy got grumpy.

We lost the business. We lost our house. We lost my grandmother's too.

We ended up dirt broke, and somehow ended up in Prescott, Arizona when I was fourteen.

Worked extremely hard, and was blessed to have played college basketball — planning to go professional overseas for a year or two.

Life had other ideas for me.

Two major knee surgeries later crushed that dream in an instant.

I had a come‑to‑Jesus moment about what I was going to do with this competitive edge that suddenly had nowhere to go.

Real estate is the only thing I've found that's as hard as basketball was. That's why I'm still here.

So when I'm sitting across from someone deciding what to do with the biggest asset they own, I'm not running commission math.

I know exactly what it costs to get that decision wrong, because I watched it happen to my family.

I'm a person of faith, and this is a ministry before it's a business.

It's the standard I get held to.

But here's the thing I finally worked out about all of it.

None of it was wasted. It was preparation.

Preparation to give you the version of this I wish my family had gotten — somebody in the room who'd tell us what it was actually worth, what it was actually going to cost, and when to walk away.

Because on the other side of one decision made properly is a house that pays you for thirty years instead of quietly costing you.

That's what I'm here to give you. Let me show you what yours can do.

Your options

Most agents can sell your house. Fewer can tell you whether you should.

Most people don't know there's more than one way to sell a home. So let me walk you through a few. Every situation is different — there's no one‑size‑fits‑all here — so open them up and see what you'd actually get out of each one. And if the right answer turns out to be don't sell at all, I'll tell you that too. It's happened plenty.

Free

Here's what The RIG can actually do with your property.

A short breakdown of your real options, run by people who've done thousands of these. No pitch at the end.

A note on scope. Some of these touch tax, legal, or lending territory. I'll walk you through the options and what each one means — then we bring in your CPA or attorney before anything gets signed. That's the line, and I don't cross it.

The Newsletter

A five‑minute read that could save you five figures.

What I'm seeing in Phoenix and Prescott, one decision worth thinking about, and whatever I got wrong that week — there's usually something. Nobody builds wealth overnight. But you can stop losing it by accident, and most people are losing it by accident.

Unsubscribe whenever. I'd rather have you reading than counted.

Call it or text it. It rings my actual phone, and I’m the one who answers. You don’t have to be ready, and you don’t have to be selling. You can just ask.
